"한 10년 전쯤, 뉴욕에 가족과 여행 갔을 때 스타벅스에서 있었던 재미있는 이야기가 있어요. 급하게 화장실이 필요했는데, 공공 화장실이 없어서 스타벅스로 뛰어갔죠. 그런데 화장실이 암호로 잠겨 있어서 당황했어요. 다행히 근처에 있던 분이 암호를 알려줘서 위기를 넘겼어요. 그 후로 해외에서는 스타벅스를 찾게 되더라고요. 물론, 요즘은 화장실 암호를 받으려고 아메리카노 한 잔을 사기도 하죠."

I'll tell you a fun story about Starbucks. As far as I remember, about 10 years ago. I visited New York City for my vacation with my family. While doing so, I really needed to go to the bathroom. It was an urgent situation, but there were no public restrooms nearby. At that time, I saw Starbucks and ran inside. But the restroom at Starbucks had a code lock, so I was getting anxious. Fortunately, someone nearby noticed I was in trouble and gave me the code. Thankfully, Starbucks and that kind stranger really saved me. Ever since then, whenever I urgently need to go to a restroom while abroad, I look for a Starbucks. Of course, now I buy an iced americano to get the restroom code.
